Amp up your energy level

  1. Try doing a few poses focusing on back bends.
  2. Add some breath work to your back bends by increasing the length of your inhale (Remember your breath has 4 distinct segments, Inhale, hold, Exhale, hold).
  3. Notice how your body heats up when you do back bends and focus on your inhale.

Relax, refresh, and detox

  1. Try doing a few forward bends.
  2. Move with your breath, slowing down your movements to match a long inhale and exhale.
  3. Add breath work to your forward bends by increasing the length of your exhale (Remember your breath has 4 distinct segments, Inhale, hold, Exhale, hold).
  4. Notice how your body lets go and feel a sense of ease as you move and breathe.

Get Grounded

  1. Try some balancing postures, like a tree pose, half moon, or warrior III.
  2. Add some breath work to your balances. Equalize your inhale and exhale (Remember your breath has 4 distinct segments, Inhale, hold, Exhale, hold).
  3. Notice your body shift into neutral and allow it to feel nourished, grounded, and balanced.
