What is Life in the Body?

AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Life in the Body is premised on the notion that we are already peace, or that peace is our natural state. Bodily peace is natural health and well-being. Mental peace is contentment and self-possession. So what is preventing what is so natural, and how do we return to it.

Life in the Body is a discovery process to uncoil any areas we have become bound by or to. Areas that have power over us, that pull and tug and draw us out of our peace over and over and over. Mentally and physically.

That discovery process is the systematic development of a skill through training and practice that is consistent whether working on the body, mind or being.

The skill acquired could be called meditative awareness, paying attention, mindfulness, or presence. It begins with breathing and calming ourself so we can notice. Once we are noticing, we learn to read the bodies or minds language, and then take steps towards improving issues we discover. To answer the call our body or mind is making.

The process is achieved through a simple equation. Adding and subtracting. Balancing pluses and minuses until they result in neutral or return us to Ground Zero, to our center, which is the peace and calm we all long for and simply can’t find it because its right under our nose.

While its goal is not unique, if you study any of the influences listed, they all share this common thread, I have put the system together in a way that benefitted my own journey and it has proved effective for all I’ve shared with thus far.
